About the Department

The Department of Gujarati is the heart of our college, celebrating the rich literary and cultural heritage of Gujarat. Established with the college's inception, the department aims to instill a love for the mother tongue and explore the vast ocean of Gujarati Literature (Sahitya).

From the devotional songs of Narsinh Mehta to the modern prose of Govardhanram Tripathi, our curriculum covers all eras. We actively organize 'Matrubhasha Divas', Folk Literature (Lok-Sahitya) programs, and creative writing workshops.
