About the Department

The Department of Hindi plays a vital role in promoting our National Language (Rashtrabhasha/Rajbhasha). Since 1960, we have been dedicated to exploring the vastness of Hindi Literature, from the devotional Bhakti Era to modern contemporary writings.

Our curriculum fosters a deep understanding of Indian culture and society through stories, novels, and poetry. We actively celebrate 'Hindi Diwas' on 14th September every year with elocution and essay writing competitions.
